It’s the end of November, the beginning of the ending of another year. While you’re getting up from a fog of Black Friday and Cyber Monday Deals, I hope you’ll join me to start reflecting on what you want in 2021. These questions will help you begin the process of positive change.

  1. What am I most afraid of?
  2. If I wasn’t afraid of that, what would I do differently or how would my life look different?
  3. What have I learned about myself this year?
  4. What do I want to learn in 2021?
  5. If I could have a doover what would it be?
  6. What pattern do I keep seeing or what do I keep hearing about that makes me intrigued?
  7. What am I longing to do?
  8. What am I waiting to get permission for before I start the thing I really want to do?
  9. If I am exactly where I am doing the very same thing that I’m doing at the end of next year, how will I feel?
  10. When did I last feel sublimely happy, joyful and carefree? What was I doing and why did I feel this way? Is there anything about that time in my life that I can recreate now?
  11. Is there any part of my true self that I miss dearly and have lost along the way from the stress and demands of adulthood?
  12. Who am I living my life for? And do I want to keep living it for them?
  13. Whose voice do I hear when I begin working towards my dreams?
  14. What would an older wiser version of me say about how I’ve been living my life?
  15. What is my greatest regret?
  16. What am I most proud of?
  17. What is something people found annoying about me as a kid? Could it be a strength now?
  18. Who did I want to be when I grew up?
  19. What stopped me?
  20. What would I tell a close friend who was afraid to fulfill their dreams?

These are questions I often ask my coaching clients. See if it can open the door to a gentle shift towards the change you’ve been dreaming of in 2021.
