It was a weird year. No matter how much people say, including myself, that this was the year they finished their book or baked bread or spent quality time with their children. It still was weird. And hard. And abnormal.
I think we’re all grateful to flush 2020 down the drain. To give a worthy send off to a year that turned me into the mom who cut everyone’s hair and homeschooled, I’m listing the top 5 posts in 2020 in case anyone missed it or wanted to catch up during more stretches of quarantining.
1 With over a thousand views, Do It Anyway became one of the highest read posts in over a decade of blogging. It may be because I admitted to how imperfect I am and shamelessly shared how I allowed myself to fail in 2020. Or it could be because it hit a chord with many of you who felt a call to do something that scared you.
2 Unlike the number 1 post of 2020, I get why this one was popular. On top of doing a giveaway, I think we were all in need of a little joy this year.
3 This local mom and small business owner is amazing! I met her in a yoga class and coached her maybe two times. She took our sessions and became an author and speaker. We also happen to share the same alma mater. I’m so proud of everything she’s accomplished and understand why this was the third most popular post this year.
4 Another guest blogger made it to the top 5. She’s a passion expert who helped answer the question: Why You Should Follow Your Passion. It’s also the first time that I published an audio interview with a transcript on the blog.
5 This year you also wanted untapped ways to find your purpose. It was a good year to do that with plenty of time to reflect on creating more meaning in your life.
That’s it! I hope you all have a wonderful holiday and I’m looking forward to sharing more posts that will inspire you in 2020!
