Keeping You Healthy {Sponsored Post}

I’ve been MIA so long, my website shut down temporarily lol. If you follow me on Instagram, you know why I’ve been offline for about 4 months now.

Thankfully I’m on the mend and it looks like life is trying to work itself toward normal.

For me and I believe for many of you, we’re all wanting desperately to return to life pre-pandemic. What I would give for those weekly football dinners at my aunt’s house or our annual California trip to see friends?

What this almost two years has brought however, is an in your face reminder that life is precious. With fear and anxiety at an all time high, I’ve learned ways to cope by working on my physical and emotional health.

I’ve never revealed this, but I’ve suffered from gut issues most of my life. As we’re all learning almost everything is linked to our diet and I had an unhealthy one for years. Physical illness has led me on a path towards healing since I became a mom and wanted desperately to see my sons grow up and just have enough energy to play with them.

This is why I was so grateful to get an email asking if I would like to read this book.

I keep in next to my bed and try to do at least one tip a day.

It’s ironic that growing up my family and I often engaged in potty talk. But we never realized the impact (no pun intended!) it had on disease and wellness.

Right now both of my nightstands are towering with books, but I like that this one is short and easy to digest (pun intended). Tips like weighing myself, not overeating or taking a cold shower are doable things I can control unlike the crazy world we’re living in right now.

I haven’t done a sponsored post in a while, but I just couldn’t resist reviewing Gut Health Hacks: 200 Ways to Balance Your Gut Microbiome and Improve Your Health by Lindsay Boyers, CHNC especially when health is part of my own personal path and purpose.

I hope you are all staying safe and being kind to yourself!
