Here you are. You’re where you were last year. Doing the same thing. Hanging with the same guys. Jangling those dreams on a floss string of hope.
But you know whose not?
This girl I met through my Facebook writing group page. She reached out to me last year and she’s actually doing it. She’s living the life she created drawn from her greatest wishes and fantasies. She’s traveling. Everywhere. She’s healthier. And she’s surrounded herself with positive people in her life.
And it didn’t take much.
I spent a handful of coaching sessions with her and it was enough to push her to do what she dreamed about.
I’m so proud of her.
I want that for you too.
But it’s hard isn’t it?
It takes courage to reach out into the unknown. It requires a mind-shift. It involves jumping off the cliff with the uncertainty of a safety net.
You could stay where you are because even though it’s hell. It’s your hell. You know the devil that trolls there. He’s cruel, but far better than the demon you haven’t yet met.
So you have a choice. You can keep on this path and hope that things will miraculously change or you can empower yourself and take the alternate road.
What will you choose? Do you want to be the one who had a glittering dream and almost went after it? Or do you want to be the one who caught it and danced in its rainbow?
When it comes down to it, it doesn’t matter when you did it, only that you had.
